Our story
We started because someone's grandmother made better sweets
Pallekala means “village time” in Telugu. It is a celebration of what rural India makes best, and a bridge to bring it into every home.
Our founder, Ravi, grew up spending summers in his family's village in coastal Andhra Pradesh. Every year, he would return to Hyderabad with jars of honey, bags of spice, and bolts of handloom cloth — and every year, his friends would ask where they could buy the same things.
The answer, for too long, was: you can't. The honey had no label. The spice had no brand. The woman who wove the cloth had no way to sell to anyone beyond the local weekly market.
Pallekala was built to solve that. We work directly with farming families, artisan cooperatives, and village producers across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and beyond — providing them with packaging, quality standards, logistics and market access. They provide us with products that no factory can replicate.
In three years, we have grown from 12 farmer partners to over 200. Every one of them has our phone number. Every one of them knows our quality standards. Every one of them is paid a fair price, every time, on time.
What we stand for
Our values
Authenticity first
Every product is sourced from verified village makers. We taste, test and certify before a single product reaches you.
Fair to farmers
We pay our suppliers 30–40% above market rates. No middlemen, direct relationships, long-term commitments.
Rooted in place
We know who made your honey, which forest it came from, and which family harvested it. That traceability is non-negotiable.
Care in every detail
From the way we pack products to how we write our labels — every touchpoint is designed with respect for the customer and the maker.
Quality without compromise
We reject 30% of products at the source for not meeting our quality standards. That selection is how we earn your trust.
